Overview

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Prepare complex technical documents and reports, including white papers, status updates, and design reviews.
• Process lengthy reports featuring tables, graphs, charts, and multi-column layouts for program tracking and analysis.
• Participate in Technical Progress Reviews (TPRs) and Design Reviews, contributing insights and documenting outcomes.
• Provide inputs to program documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Support financial planning, budgeting, and execution of project funds, ensuring proper allocation and tracking.
• Analyze program costs and funding requirements, preparing documentation for audits and leadership briefings.
• Coordinate with financial teams to align budgets with integrated management schedules and program milestones.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify risks, and recommend adjustments to keep programs on track.
• Coordinate task planning and execution across multiple stakeholders and departments.
• Apply best business practices to streamline documentation, scheduling, and reporting processes.
• Utilize software tools to manage data, visualize performance metrics, and support decision-making.
• Ensure all documentation and systems comply with Navy cybersecurity protocols and information assurance policies.
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and financial analysts to align technical and business objectives.
• Support Navy and DoD program execution, ensuring timely delivery of milestones and reporting requirements.
• Facilitate communication across teams, preparing materials for briefings, reviews, and leadership updates.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


• 2 years of work-related experience in management support with demonstrated technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports; OR, 3 years of specialized experience in: financial planning, budgeting and execution of project funds for allocation purposes; integrated management schedule (IMS) development and tracking for planning and budgeting; coordination of task planning, schedule development and task execution for DoD and Navy programs and projects.
• Skill set requires demonstrating both a comprehensive knowledge of software applications and best business practices along with a high degree of skill in applying software functions necessary to prepare complex and detailed documents utilizing the Microsoft (MS) Office suite of products and providing management support.
• Experience in processing complex and lengthy technical reports that include tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns, participating in Technical Progress and Design Reviews and program technical meetings, and providing status and inputs to technical reports, white papers and meetings.
• This position is required to be designated as IAT II level (Security+ for example).
• Must have a Secret clearance or higher depending on the contract requirements.

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:


Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
