DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Provide on-site and remote support for NEN systems.
• Assist with data migrations during tech refresh cycles.
• Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions.
• Maintain and configure Active Directory accounts and permissions.
• Support WAN/LAN connectivity, including switch and port configurations.
• Monitor system performance and apply updates or patches as needed.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related inquiries.
• Track and report issues using ticketing systems (e.g., Remedy or ServiceNow).
• Maintain configuration management records and asset inventories.
• Provide user training and guidance on system usage and security protocols.
• Operate under DoD 8570 IAT Level II standards (e.g., Security+ certification).
• Handle sensitive data in accordance with Secret Clearance requirements.
• Support policy and process development for IT operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Two (2) years of professional experience in customer service and interpersonal communications.
• Qualified experience in technical telephone inquiries and on-site support to employees regarding technical aspects of NEN assigned products.
• This position is required to be designated as IAT II level. (Security+)
• Must have a Secret clearance or higher depending on the contract requirements.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
