ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Experience equivalent training in logistics, inventory tracking and product research, development, documentation maintenance and /or data management systems and /or specialized area of expertise for this tasking.
  • The Logistics Specialist must demonstrate a general knowledge of database management applications such as IBPES and ERP.
  • Experience shall include interpersonal communications skills and experience in industry, Federal or DoD help desk support.

 

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience or equivalent training in logistics, inventory tracking, and product research.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Must have a DOD Secret security clearance and have or be able to obtain an SSBI.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products and Visio.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense and Weapons Systems standard concepts, practices, and procedures is needed.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


None

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:


Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. In addition, a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States and for TTO are required. May require occasional travel.
