Overview

Provide financial analysis support to program management in support of government customer.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Execute full spectrum of business process related to financial tracking, budget development and management, to include forecasting estimates to and at completion.
• Monitor cost and any overruns to ensure the program meets scheduled performance and expected margins.
• Track all aspects of project performance and communicate any outliers to project management.
• Employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative methods.
• Consent to purchase and approvals against invoices.
• Review invoices and other financial documentation for accuracy.
• Coordination with project managers across the portfolio for obligation tracking.

 

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:


• Must be a US citizen with a valid US passport and possess or obtain/maintain a minimum a SECRET clearance.
• Must possess excellent command of the English language and excellent writing skills.
• Must be Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Maintains professional competence and specialized knowledge base by keeping abreast of emerging themes and best practices.
• Ability to work across functions to ensure proper understanding.
• Knowledge of and skill in applying analytical and evaluating techniques to plan, schedule and conduct studies and analyses of financial management functions or programs.
• Knowledge of substantive programs, goals, pertinent laws, and policies to analyze and assemble information; and knowledge of management and organizational techniques, systems and procedures to perform analytical studies.


MINIMUM EDUCATION:


Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting from an accredited college or university.

 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:


• Five (5) years of experience in a related field.
• Five (5) years of experience should involve business and technical processes, metrics, data collection, financial management, financial reports, tracking schedule, and cost performance using tools, and related software.

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:


As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
