ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Support Professional Movers culture and values.
  • Moving and assembly of residential and/or commercial furniture.
  • Ability to deconstruct, install and execute space planning inside office environments.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team assigned to provide office moving.
  • Ability to professionally communicate with Team Leader, Moving Consultant, and Customer.
  • Ability to take apart new and used office furniture and household furniture.
  • Knowledge in systems furniture (Cubicle Workstations Required).
  • Timely completion of work with high level of workmanship.
  • Hanging items on walls pictures, overhead bins, etc.
  • Assisting in loading and unloading box trucks.
  • Preparing furniture for transportation (pad-wrapping and shrink-wrapping).
  • Perform disassembly and reassembly of furniture.
  • Ability to lift heavy furniture.

 

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Previous moving or general labor experience.
  • Be able to lift at least 50lbs / 120lbs with assistance.
  • Keeping trucks, equipment, hardware organized Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude in the face of adversity.
  • Knowledge in systems furniture (Cubicle Workstations Required).
  • Proficient at wall mounting and hanging overheads to walls.
  • Inventory management ability, review parts log and confirm components.
  • Proven ability to follow direction precisely.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS:

 

As a condition of employment, must pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results. May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must have or be eligible for security clearances. May require occasional travel.
